What you will learn
Networking, port by port
The skills behind every network job, taught by building and breaking things. Each one has a lab.
Labs
The same config, two vendors
Every lab starts from a topology and a goal. You build it, then compare how each vendor's CLI does the same job. Below is the access-port VLAN setup from lab one.
vlan 10 name STAFF vlan 20 name GUEST interface 1/1/1 no shutdown no routing vlan access 10 interface 1/1/24 no routing vlan trunk native 1 vlan trunk allowed 10,20

Example config for teaching. Interface names and options vary by switch model and software version.

How it works
Every topic has the same three parts
The format stays the same from lesson to lesson, so you always know what to do next.
Concept video
A short explanation with the diagram drawn as I talk. Usually 5 to 10 minutes.
Lab
A screen-recorded walkthrough plus the commands as copyable text, so you can repeat it yourself.
Quiz
Practice questions on that topic, written in the style of the exam.

About Zach
PLACEHOLDER
I work as a network technician at an airport and have more than ten years in IT, with hands-on time in Aruba, UniFi and VLAN design. I teach what I am studying and building in my own home lab, and I record each lesson soon after I learn it.
